Board and Staff
Our volunteer Board of Directors and committees help assess community needs, make important funding decisions for our partner agencies, and oversee and support our staff.

United Way of Hamblen County is fortunate to have the dedication of many volunteers from the community. Our volunteer Board of Directors and various committees help assess community needs, make important funding decisions for our partner agencies, share the United Way message as Loaned Executives, and oversee and support our staff in running a successful United Way.
The Board is a local body of 30 elected volunteer members and appointed Officers. Although they are elected, all are volunteers who receive zero compensation. Board members may be actively working for Hamblen County businesses or retirees serving as Community Volunteers.
Without their contributions of time, talent, and energy, United Way of Hamblen County could not be nearly as effective or efficient.
Staff
We are a staff of two with energy, enthusiasm, and drive.
